BEWITCHNG beauty products, that aim to have a magical effect on the sense of smell, are set to be launched on the spookiest night of the year!

Tibby Olivier, which prides itself on hand blended, organic and natural products has recently moved into Backridge Farm, Waddington, and has announced the launch of a new range in order to commemorate the 400 year anniversary of the execution of the Pendle witches.

Company director Julieann Parry, said “The trials of the Pendle witches in 1612 are among the most famous in English history, as so we decided, what better time to launch our new shop with products which are handmade in the shadows of Pendle Hill?”

Tibby Olivier’s witchery themed products will be available at the Backridge Shop from Wednesday. Definitely more ‘treat’ than ‘trick’, the range includes a Witch Cream which is presented in a miniature cauldron and an exquisite 1612 parfum, blended with essences oils, resins, barks and flowers to achieve a multi-layered aromatic fragrance, which outlasts the commercial perfumes of today. Complementing these two products are the spellbinding Lavender Wands, smells from which will ward off evil, The Black Hat Bath Oil in which Love potion essences, The Black Cat Sage Soap and scrumptious The Sage Hand Cream.

Julieann said: “We hope that our range will appeal to local people proud of their Pendle witch heritage, as well as to the many tourists who visit the area each year, intrigued by its famed history.

The Pendle witches’ use of organic flora and fauna in their potions and lotions was considered a danger to society in those days gone by. Now such artisan products as used by Tibby Olivier are praised nationwide for their natural and organic properties.

Julieann added: “I can’t promise magic, but I can promise a bewitching experience for all who use any of the new products.”
