Around 120 villagers and their friends packed a Fence restaurant to raise vital funds for two organisations.
The evening of feasting, fun and entertainment was held at Babar Elephant to boost the coffers of Fence United and the Fence Friends Park Fund.
Guests tucked into Indian cuisine before they were entertained by an Abba tribute band, who sang their way hits from the 1970s and 80s.
During the evening, a raffle raised £264 for the Fence Playground Fund and Fence United made more than £600 for village funds from ticket sales and fund-raising game.
Future Fence events include a Hallowe’en fancy dress disco party at Pendle Forest Sports Club on Friday, October 31st, and Fence United Father Christmas grotto at the Sparrow Hawk Inn on Sunday, December 7th.
