Two women were injured in a car crash at a Burnley road junction.
The collision happened between a Renault Clio and a Citroen C1 along Manchester Road at 1-30pm this afternoon (Friday).
The driver of the Renault and the front passenger of the Citroen were both injured in the collision.
Fire crews were called in over fears the two casualties may have to be cut from their vehicles.
But paramedics managed to free them and they were taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The incident happened at the junction with Moorland Road and the police are investigating the cause of the crash.
