Nelson flasher is in court
A middle-aged Nelson man who exposed himself in front of children has been placed on the Sexual Offenders' Register.
Ian Carlos (58) is now awaiting sentence for the offence, committed in the town on June 11th. The defendant, of Bevan Place, has admitted exposure and will be sentenced on July 4th, after the preparation of a probation report. The length of time he has to notify police of his address will be determined on that date.
Carlos, said by his solicitor Nick Cassidy to have “a number of personal issues” was ordered to sign the register in the interim. He has been bailed to live at an address on River Street, Colne.
