Man police want to trace after a car was damaged by an air gun in Burnley (s)

Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a car was damaged by pellets fired from an air gun.

The Vauxhall Astra was parked in Coal Clough Lane, Burnley, between 2pm and 11pm on June 24th when a man fired a number of small pellets, which caused a small indentation to the car and the paint to chip off.

The culprit is white, of stocky build, with short dark brown hair thinning on top, and is between 5ft. 10in. to 6ft. tall.

He is aged between 30 and 40 years old and was wearing a brown long-sleeved top with white writing on the chest, brown trousers and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
