Burnley environmentalists joined in a county-wide day of action to protest against fracking.
Burnley Friends of the Earth hosted a fracking awareness raising stall at the bandstand in Burnley town centre.
The event was part of a Lancashire-wide day of action on fracking which also saw events in Preston, Longridge, Southport and the village of Roseacre in the Fylde.
Jane Wood from Burnley Friends of the Earth said: “We aim to raise awareness of why fracking is so toxic. Communities need to reject this harmful process and support the positive green renewable alternatives.”
