Burnley fans spoke of their joy after the Clarets’ 2-1 derby win over Blackburn Rovers.
Jamie Gorton (23) said: “For the first 15 minutes we were under the cosh but we defended really well. Then we upped our game and got ourselves into the game.
“It’s one of the biggest games in English football. The future looks really bright for Burnley. I think we’re going up.”
Carl Ford (39) said: “I am over the moon that Burnley won. I knew they would win this time but I was a bit nervous towards the end.”
Ken Preston (64), who lives near Turf Moor, added: “We’ve waited 35 years for this. This is unbelievably massive. It’s got to be magical. I’m absolutely ecstatic.”
