A blaze outside a Burnley home which cares for people with dementia is being investigated by fire chiefs.
The fire broke out in a furniture store in the grounds of the Bank Hall Care Home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Flames took hold of the articulated lorry trailer which fire crews said was being used to house furniture at the centre.
Heat from the fire smashed a number of windows at the Colne Road home and firefighters were called in to tackle the blaze around 1-15am.
Fire crew used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and were at the scene for around an hour.
No residents or staff were harmed in the incident but the storage unit was badly burnt with slight damage to the furniture inside.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
