Classic cars ready to roll in to town

The wheels are in motion for the latest Burnley Classic Car Show, which will roll into town on Sunday.

The annual event at Towneley Park, organised by the Rotary Club of Burnley, will see more than 300 classic vehicles being exhibited.

Rotarian Gordon Salthouse said: “The car show has been running for around 30 years and is always a great event.

“Entry is free but there will be charity collections. As ever, any money raised on the day will go towards local charities. We are expecting this year’s show to be bigger and better than ever.”

The day starts at 11am and will feature the usual family attractions and refreshment stalls.
