Burnley tots raise £278

Forty tots aged from eight months to four years and their parents have helped to raise £278 for teenagers with cancer.

The children, from Co-operative Childcare at Burnley General Hospital, held a sponsored toddle through the grounds and hospital building to raise the cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Deputy manager Kelly Wilson said: “The children really enjoyed it, we are hoping to raise more money for the cancer charity and we are looking forward to doing it again next year.”
