THE following crimes have been reported to Burnley police:
• Two mountain bikes worth £1,300 were stolen from a garage in Printers Fold, Burnley. The bikes, a men’s silver cycle, and a women’s black and white Scott bike, were taken between October 28th and 30th.
• Power tools worth £1,005 were stolen from Barnfield Construction, Billington Road, Burnley, between October 26th and 27th.
• Thieves stole items worth £1,310 from a house in Kyan Street, Burnley. Among the haul were a Samsung laptop, Kindle, Nintendo 3DS, ghd hair straighteners, jewellery, DVDs and computer games.
• Three pallets of York stone worth £500 were stolen by thieves who broke into Queens Park, Burnley, between October 28th and 29th.
• Four alloy wheels were taken from a Ford Fiesta parked at Thrifty Car Hire, Eastern Avenue, Burnley, on October 29th.
• A Royal Mail van was stolen from Venice Avenue, in Burnley. It was later found abandoned in Rossendale Road.
• The exhaust system was stolen from a Mercedes Sprinter van parked in Casterton Avenue, Burnley. The exhaust is worth £2,000.
• Thieves took two bicycles worth £200 each from outside Boohoo.com in Widow Hill Road, Burnley.
