Woman taken to hospital after M65 crash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after her car crashed into the central reservation of the M65.

Police, ambulance and fire crews from Burnley were called to junction 9 at Hapton after the woman lost control of the Mini arounf 12-30pm on Thursday.

A police spokesman said she was taken to hospital but her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
