Woman taken to hospital after fire

A WOMAN was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from burns after a fire at her home.

Crews attended the scene, in Rylands Street, at 4-20pm where clothing had set alight.

They used a first aid kit to treat the woman and ventilation unit to rid the building of smoke.
