POLICE have released CCTV images of man they want to speak to after a taxi driver was punched and robbed of his takings in Padiham.

The incident happened in Hambeldon Street at 2-12 a.m. on Saturday, January 28th.

“CCTV images have been released of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident. I would appeal direct for that man to come or if anyone recognises who he is then I would urge them to get in touch.

“Understandably, the taxi driver has been left shaken following his ordeal and officers are offering him support.”
