Rubbish fire spreads to house

FIRE crews were called to Elgin Crescent, South West Burnley, after a rubbish fire in a garden spread to a house.

The incident happened shortly after 6pm on Friday and firefighters used a hose reel and a triple extension ladder to put out the flames. The fire caused some heat damage to fascias and a window and some light smoke damage inside the property.
