Pipe burst in Burnley village hits water supplies

HOMES have been left without water in a Burnley village after a pipe burst this morning.

Residents in Worsthorne woke up to find water supplies were down after the burst which happened around 6am.

The problem has left homes, businesses and the local primary school without water.

United Utilities engineers have been called out to find and fix the leak which happened in the Brownside Road area.
