Padiham pensioner denies sex offences

A PADIHAM pensioner is awaiting trial after denying 11 child sex offences, at Burnley Crown Court.

George Ferguson (73) of Billington Close, pleaded not guilty to attempted rape, nine charges of gross indecency and one allegation of indecent assault.

The alleged offences, against four complainants, are said to have taken place between 1979 and 1991. The defendant was bailed until November 26th.
