A SPRING beer festival has helped raise £1,136 for Pendleside Hospice.

Moorhouse’s new brewery hosted the festival as part of a series of events planned at the new visitor centre, which raises money for several local charities.

Moorhouse’s managing director David Grant said: “The spring festival was a great succes.

“We were delighted to be able to raise money for such a good local cause as the Pendleside Hospice.”
