Men charged with drugs offences to appear in Burnley court

FIVE men, including one from Burnley, are due to appear in court charged with drugs offences.

Asam Iltaf (35), of Cleaver Street, Burnley, will appear before Burnley magistrates on September 20th, alongside Abid Hussain (31), of Wheatholme Street, Rawtenstall, Imran Mahmood (26), of Hardman Avenue, Rawtenstall, Tanveer Hussain (30), of Lingwood Avenue, Bradford, and Robert Millar (32), of Broadway, Haslingden.

All five men are charged with being concerned in supply of crack cocaine, a Class A drug, and cannabis, a Class B drug.

Abid Hussain is also charged with money laundering.

A sixth man, Majid Hussain (31), of Wheatholme Street, Rawtenstall, is charged with money laundering and fraud by false representation.

This relates to the alleged supply of drugs from a car wash on Victoria Way, Rossendale, between January and March 2012.
