Man found with knife at Burnley nightclub

POLICE swooped on a man who was found carrying a knife at a Burnley nightclub.

The incident happened at Lava and Ignite in Hammerton Street on Friday night where the four-inch weapon was discovered concealed in his sock.

• A 27-year-old man has been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place, He was due to appear before Burnley magistrates today.
