Man found dead in Burnley flat: woman (39) arrested

DETECTIVES are investigating the unexplained death of a man at a house in Burnley.

An investigation is underway into the death of a man in his 40s at a house in Brownhill Avenue, Brunshaw, yesterday.

Police were called around 7-15pm by the ambulance aervice to a flat in Brownhill Avenue after reports a man had been found dead inside.

The death is currently being treated as “unexplained” and a Home Office post mortem examination is due to be carried out today to establish a cause of death.

A 39-year-old woman from Burnley has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
