Fire crews extinguish Burnley house blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were called to fire at a house in Burnley last night.

The blaze started at 10pm at an empty address in Ford Street and fire crews had to use four breathing apparatus and a hose reel to get it under control.

The living room was severely damaged by the fire while the rest of the property suffered slight smoke damage.
