Eleven people charged with drug supply offences after Burnley raids
FOUR people charged with drug supply offences have appeared in court today following a series of police raids across Burnley.
Umar Ali (20) of March Street, Deborah Tomlin (47) of Griffin Close, Mohammed Ikraam (27) of Thursby Road, and Mohammed Ruman Alom (21) of Reedley Road, appeared at Burnley Magistrates today.
They have been remanded in custody to appear at Burnley Crown Court on February 18th.
A further seven people were also charged with drug supply offences.
Michelle Simpson (33) of Griffin Close, Alan Rutley (44) of Spencer Street, Deborah Hefford (50) of Spencer Street, James McCann (51) of Waterbarn Street, Daniel Conway (33) of Linby Street, Michael Grundy (35) of Francis Street, and Wajid Hussain (29) of Cameron Street, are due to appear at Burnley Magistrates on February 15th.
A 42-year-old woman has been released on police bail until March 7th.
A total of twelve people were arrested in the raids which saw 130 officers storm homes across Burnley on Wednesday morning.
A further two people were arrested during the Operation Regenerate action.
Martin Norward (23) of Travis Street, Burnley was due to appear at Burnley Magistrates Court charged with burglary
A 25-year-old woman was given a caution for possession of an offensive weapon.
