Crime File — Thursday October 4th

THE following incidents have been reported to Burnley Police:

Two locked and secure vehicles in Burnley have been targeted by thieves.

The back passenger window of a silver Ford, which was parked in Waterloo Road, was smashed between 7-30pm and 9-45pm on October 2nd. A CD car radio was taken, as well as a selection of CDs.

In the second incident, a front number plate from a Toyota, which was parked in Throstle Street, was stolen between 11pm on October 2nd and 11am on October 3rd. The registration number of the vehicle is PL02 YHT.

Police are appealing for information following two thefts in Padiham.

In the early hours of Wednesday October 3rd, a garage in Valley Drive, and a garden shed in South Drive, were targeted by thieves.

In the first incident, a mountain bike and tools were taken, and in the second incident power tools were stolen. The power tools were later recovered.

Two men were seen leaving the area in the early hours of the morning.
