A DELIGHTED Burnley cat owner has been reunited with her two pets after they went missing for two weeks – thanks to the Burnley Express.

After the Express featured an appeal in yesterday’s paper in a bid to trace Noki and Stevie, belonging to nurse Miss Francesca Bell, the two cats were found.

Noki was discovered drinking water from a garden pond by a couple who contacted Francesca’s mum Mrs Margaret Kingston and Stevie appeared outside Francesca’s house, in Paulhan Street, Queensgate, this morning.

The family had offered a £100 reward for the return of the beloved animals but Mrs Kingston said the couple refused to accept it.

She added: “Noki is very thin so we are going to take her to the vets. I just want to thank the lady who found her. It’s such a relief to have them back.”
