A YEAR 9 Shuttleworth College pupil is the design whizz behind his school’s new student planner.

Dillon Murgatroyd (13) won a school competition to design the cover of the new planner, beating around 100 other entries.

He won shopping vouchers, various prizes from the school’s rewards cabinet and also had his name printed on the front of the planner, which is given out to all pupils as a way to record home learning.
