Burnley leisure centre closure update

BURNLEY’S St Peter’s Centre remains temporarily closed this morning after a power failure over the weekend.

The leisure centre was hit by a power cut on Saturday night and has been closed to the public since Sunday.

Fitness classes will be held at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre this morning as engineers try and repair the electricity supply.

A zumba class will start at 9-30am followed by a 10-30am aerobics class at the venue on Manchester Road.

Facilities are open as normal at Padiham Leisure Centre and Clear members can use 17 local facilities as part of the Active Network

Crash Courses and NPLQ will continue to be held at Padiham Leisure Centre today.

The St Peter’s Health Centre is open as normal.
