Burnley Festival of Speech, Music and Stage Dance

TALENTED musicians of all ages descended on Burnley for the town's annual music festival.

The Burnley Festival of Speech, Music and Stage Dance was held over two weekends at the Thomas Whitham Sixth Form building in Barden Lane.

General secretary Mr Peter Jelley said: "This was our first year in the new campus and it was absolutely superb. We had four performance areas, each like a mini theatre, and the quality of the performers was terrific. One of the adjudicators commented it was the best choral singing she'd ever heard.

The results were:
