Jazzman owner Baron Laird who has re-opened his barber shop following the fire on Sunday night.
A BURNLEY barbers is heading back to normal after a fire ripped through the building.
Jazz Man Grooves, opened by Baron Laird in 1989, escaped major damage after the blaze on Sunday night which also struck the next door Alfie’s Butty Shop and Holt and Longworth Solicitors.
Baron, who runs the barbers with Nathan Sudderick, Adam Doney and Matt Dolby, thanked firefighters for their efforts in confining the fire to the roof.
He said: “I received a text message saying the shop was on fire. I then got a call from the fire brigade. I drove down with my wife Lynda and we could see the smoke from miles off.”
Most of the damage was confined to the roof, which will need to be replaced, meaning Baron will have to temporarily relocate for two months.
