Swinton Insurance, a high street broker based in Burnley, have raised £1,105 for Pendleside Hospice after getting involved in the charitable cause having wanted to get involved in local fundraising for a while.

Swinton have attended the Lancashire Show and helped out by volunteering at various events, including bag packing at Tesco’s, hosting a tombola at the Canal Festival, and attending Paws in the Park, a local dog walking event.

Tracey Carney, Customer Service Manager at Swinton, said: “We have enjoyed helping the hospice out after they were chosen as our charity of the year. All the team at Swinton are happy to give of their time to raise essential funds for the running of the Hospice and we have lots more planned.”

Sammi Graham, Pendleside Hospice Fundraiser, said: “We are so grateful to all the staff at Swinton who have helped us enormously throughout the last few months. They have raised vital funds for the hospice and given up hours of their free time to volunteer at various events”.
