Oakmount Veterinary Centre receptionist Lindsay McGaffin has raised £658 for charity after completing a 100 mile walk in just six days.

Lindsay, who was raising money for Guide Dogs UK, walked from Grassington and passed through some of the most picturesque countryside in the UK including Settle, Kirby Lonsdale, and Newbry Bridge, before arriving at Barrow in Furness on the west coast.

Linday’s aim whilst taking part in the walk was to help raise as much money as possible for the charity.

She was inspired by the Guide Dogs she meets through her work and wanted to help them in the work that they do.
