A holiday coach broke down on a busy Burnley roundabout bringing traffic chaos to the town centre.
The bus had just picked up holidaymakers from Burnley Bus Station en route to Scotland when an electrical fault caused it to break down – causing huge traffic problems.
Police were forced to shut parts of Church Street as attempts were made to recover the stricken coach.
Holidaymakers were ushered off the 54-seater vehicle and taken back to the Croft Street bus station following the breakdown.
Officials at the holiday tour company confirmed the breakdown and said a replacement coach had been sent to pick up passengers.
Police said the road was fully reopened at around 11-20am.
