Burnley Ambulance Station could be relocated after an application for planning permission was made by Lancashire County Council.
The proposed plans would see the current site on Dent Row demolished and replaced with a car park extension for Burnley Manchester Road train station.

However, Ian Pattison of North West Ambulance Trust says nothing has been confirmed yet, and all proposals are still at an early stage.
“If the Ambulance Station is demolished, it will just be a relocation job, Burnley will not lose its Ambulance Station.
“We’ve undertaken a review of all ambulance station’s across the North West.
“During this we’ve been exploring the option of relocating Burnley Ambulance Station.
“Nothing has been confirmed but we have been looking at our options.
“No matter what happens with the current site Burnley will continue to have an ambulance station.”
The propsed car parkextension would provide 77 additional parking spaces.
