A budget Burnley gym is giving a lift up to those seeking employment in the area.

Xercise4Less in Kingsway Road has just taken on 15 new members of staff and recruitment is not expected to end there.

Manager Matt Tyler said: “We have had further growth recently so we are recruiting currently but to be honest we are always recruiting as there is an ongoing need to build up our team, to service the growing amount of members we are attracting.

“It’s clear that people within the region are really buying into being able to exercise in modern facilities for a very low price – we are proud that we are helping to encourage more people from across the region to get fit.”

Xercise4Less Burnley’s newest starters include Christopher Murray, who previously worked as a sales manager at a law firm, Louise Bennett, who filled the role as senior receptionist and Callum Krzysik, Ashleigh Greenwood, Ben Hewitt, Rudi Lockett, Lewis Wilkins and Nicola Tarjanyi who all became membership consultants at the Burnley club.
