Ambulance rushes Clarets fan to hospital

AN emergency ambulance was called to Burnley Football Club shortly before Burnley’s home match against Barnsley on Tuesday evening.

A 50-year-old man had complained of chest pains and was taken from outside the James Hargreaves Stand at Turf Moor to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, an ambulance spokesman confirmed.
