A team of girls from Hameldon Community College have proved they are top of the class when it comes to business after they won a Young Enterprise competition.

The Year 10 team won first place for the “Best Business Plan” award for Young Enterprise schools in Lancashire after they produced a superb 10 page business plan for their company MY.

The team followed up this with another win – for “Best Product” at the Trafford Centre where they sold their “Bella Borsa” make-up bags.

Janine Nicholas, from Hameldon, said: “The awards were thoroughly deserved. The girls received the award at a Young Enterprise training session in Preston.

“Their bags include lip balm, hand sanitiser, nail file, hair accessories, comb and more.”

If you would like to support the girls and order one please contact Hameldon reception on 01282 683040 and place your order, or speak to Mrs Nicholas.
