Homeowners in Harle Syke are fuming after plans to build 60 homes on an historic mill site were given the green light.
Planning permission for the £6m. Calico funded Primrose Mill development, off Harrison Street, was approved by Burnley Borough Council’s Development Control Committee on Thursday.
Around 200 people packed out a community meeting in June to voice their concerns about the proposals, many fearing the development would have a negative impact on local schools and traffic in the area.
