Football pals to kick off hat-trick of fund-raising events

A football match will kick off a hat-trick of fund-raising activities for a worthy charity.

Burnley man Callum Krzysik will lead his team-mates at AC Milano FC in a match against local rivals AFC Booth at the Prairie on November 26th to raise money for Otis and Friends, a charity set up by Burnley woman Natalie Oldham to support families who have suffered stillbirths.

Following the football match there will be an evening of entertainment at Lowerhouse Canteen before the pals tackle a 50 mile walk over the Peak District.

Callum said: “We did a similar thing last year in memory of little girl Faith Olivia, and wanted to do something similar in memory of Otis Cullen who was stillborn.

“We managed to raise enough money to get a plaque put up in a room in memory of Faith in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

“This year, we are doing something for the family of Otis. His mother Natalie has started a charity that helps to look after the siblings of children that are stillborn.”
