Fire crews tackle Padiham house blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Padiham this morning.

The blaze at a terraced house in Ingham Street broke out at around 1-20 a.m.

Four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit were used to get the flames under control and clear the property of smoke.

The blaze was confined to the hallway but caused smoke damage to the rest of the property. The incident is being investigated.
