Wait nearly over for GCSE students

Last week, nervous students from across Burnley and Padiham received their long-awaited A-Level results.

They’re now finalising decisions about their future: whether they will head into the world of work or further studies.

Latest national statistics show the proportion of students awarded top grades has fallen for the second year amid a rise in students taking science and maths.

Now it’s the turn of GCSE students to receive their exam results with Thursday the day that all will be revealed.
