Blessed Trinity’s Year Nines pupils took part in pursuits from painting to walking at a retreat at Castlerigg Manor in Keswick.

Sixty-five pupils and staff enjoyed a five-day trip where they undertook a number of activities such as clay modelling, painting, team challenges and walking in the Cumbrian countryside.

RE Curriculum Leader Rachel Keighley said: “The retreat was aimed at improving the students team work abilities, their social skills and allowing them to reflect on their own faith, spirituality and awareness of social justice. They all seemed to enjoy it and we have had plenty of positive feedback.”
