Road safety signs have been erected outside a Burnley primary school.

Rosegrove Infants’ School headteacher Jackie Stewart and PCSO Alex Catterall had called for the signs to highlight the dangers of cars parked in dangerous places around the school.

The signs have been funded through Burnley Borough Council’s Ward Opportunities Fund through Coun. Paul Reynolds.

Coun. Reynolds said: “We like to use Ward Opportunities Fund money to address community concerns and this is a good example of partnership working between councillors, police and our local school.”
