Science and PE teacher David Wallace brightened up his students’ day for Children In Need - by wearing a coat of many colours they made for him.

Despite turning up in bright shades of attire as requested by Burnley High School’s student council, David was made to don a specially made colourful suit put together by the youngsters.

He said “I don’t know where they got the idea from that I was too miserable to take part, but it certainly was a surprise to be presented with my own Children In Need suit.”

The students’ fund-raiser involved a wild hair and colourful costumes day, a cake stall, a sponsored run and netball for the boys – using their feet to score the baskets.
