ONE hundred youngsters stole the show at Turf Moor with a spectacular “save the planet” parade.
The pupils from Padiham St Leonard’s Primary School took to the pitch at half time in the Clarets’ 5-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
The children performed the dazzling environment-themed display in front of thousands of delighted fans to spread the message about making Burnley a greener place.
Head teacher Julie Bradley said: “It was absolutely amazing. The children were just unbelievable and the atmosphere was fantastic. It is something they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
