PUPILS from a Burnley school have completed a project to develop their communication and presentation skills.

The Year 10 youngsters, from Hameldon Community College, in Coal Clough Lane, took part in the Burnley Schools Project in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus.

Twelve young people took part in the project over five weeks, which helped provide them with job search awareness, confidence and motivation.

They were all presented with certificates and medals by Claret Kieran Trippier.

The project is part of the wider Civil Service Local initiative.
