CHILDREN IN NEED - Burnley goes crazy for charity!

IT’S that time of year again!

Children In Need day is upon us once more, with big-hearted residents across the Burnley area pulling out all the stops to raise thousands of pounds to help young people at home and abroad.

HAMELDON Community College saw Wolverine, Banaman, Supergirl, babies in bonnets, crocodiles and pupils in pyjamas all supporting Children in Need. Fancy dress and spots and stripes were the order of the day along with raffles and cake sales which raised more than 500. Pictured are Kurt Craddock, Ashley Newman, Becky Kirwan and Courtney Nailes dressed for fun. (S)

From fancy dress days to sponsored events, baking to shaking tins, there are no shortage of ways to help the BBC charity, as these photos from Hameldon Community College in Burnley show, with students and teachers getting in the mood to raise £500.
