Naomi Hartley dreams of being a professional footballer – and hasn’t ruled out an international cap!
Blessed Trinity pupil Naomi, 12, spends her time between two rivals as she is at Blackburn Rovers’ Academy and also plays for Burnley Girls.
“I have been playing football for five years and I cherish every minute of it,” said midfielder Naomi, who lives on Ribchester Avenue.
“Blackburn’s Academy is one of the most professional in the country and I am captain for Burnley Girls’ Sunday team.
“I have had many man of the match awards and I love football.
“My dream is to play professionally for a good team and maybe even England one day.”
