STUDENTS at Blessed Trinity RC College put their art and soul into producing a mural for The Knights of St Columba 110 Club’s function room – and designing a commemorative wine label. The Catholic club in Yorkshire Street, Burnley, has been a long standing supporter of Blessed Trinity and its two predecessor schools St Hilda’s and St Theodore’s.

The KSC 110 Club celebrates 50 years on the Yorkshire Street site this month, and to mark the celebration, the club bought a batch of wine and invited the school’s graphic design department to run a competition to design a label for the bottles.

A number of brilliant designs were submitted from Year 10 students with Ben Gorton’s design being chosen as the winner for which he received a cash prize.
