£3,600 raised for Caritas charity

It got loud and then quiet at Blessed Trinity as the school raised £3,600 for Catholic charity Caritas.

The Year Seven band blasted out their songs at a fundraiser while other students carried out a sponsored silence.

There were cake sales, sponsored runs in fancy dress outfits, raffles and a non-uniform day.

PE teacher James Macmahon once again excelled himself when he dressed as a woman and had his legs waxed,” said teacher Rachel Keighley.
