Calder Dental Practice on Todmorden Road in Burnley raised a grand total of £853 as staff threw themselves into the charity fundraising effort.

Money was raised by holding a bake sale during the week leading up to Red Nose Day on March 24th, while there was also a sweet tree competition, and members staff were sponsored for giving up something they love.

Additionally, during the week leading to Red Nose Day, all the members of staff wore the official Comic Relief T-shirts and dressed up in wacky red fancy dress to show their support for the cause.

"Our event was a huge success and we raised an outstanding [amount] for Comic Relief," said a statement from the dental practice.
